Service Description

Yoga Nidra literally means Yogic Sleep and this is the Ultimate Rest session. If you prefer to practice from home rather than in studio, please book from the online classes section so the zoom links will be sent to you to join. It is an ancient systematic practice of moving awareness from our external world to the inner world as it cycles and slows down brain wave frequencies, lowering beta and increasing alpha, theta and delta for the better. Yoga Nidra literally changes the 'fluctuations of the mind' to enter a deep state of conscious relaxation or 'almost-sleep' where our senses, intellect, and mind relax. It's best to remain still for the session so comfort is well established first. You'll be laying down or propped up with anything you need to make yourself comfortable for about an hour and from there all you do is listen. We have lots of cushions, bolsters, soft blocks, straps and blankets in the studio. so just bring yourself in your comfiest fitting clothes and a drink for after. If you have your preferred snuggle stuff, feel free to bring it along. This class is best enjoyed in the evening after you're ready for bed to avoid stimulating yourself back to super awake-ness. If you choose to cancel an appointment, workshop or class within 24 hours of start time, your payment or credit will not be refunded. Please make contact for serious extenuating situations. Term bookings are not refundable/transferrable for missed classes.
